CoA students place first in competition
Great news!! In Houston, on February 28, 2013, a team of UTSA College of Architecture students won First Place in the 1st Annual SES Student Healthcare Design Intervention Competition. The ‘Health to the People’ competition was sponsored by AIA Houston’s Committee on Architecture for Health and was open to teams from architecture schools in Texas to explore the relationship between health — in all its forms — and the built environment. UTSA’s fourth year undergraduate interior design and architecture students competed with graduate students of UT Austin and Texas Tech University to design an unexpected, atypical facility for ‘Preventive Services’.
